Watercolor Painter, Graphic Design

Willing to Exhibit at Art Fairs, Teach Workshop

Am an experienced professional painter with 30 years of experience (formerly a commercial artist).  Watercolor is my "first" love, but all art is of great interest.  I prefer landscapes, close-ups, sea, and cloudscapes.  I turned to pastel and find it benefits my watercolor by making colors stronger.  Pastel is intriguing because so many already mixed colors are available.  I like to interact with others who take their art seriously.
I teach monthly adult workshops at my cottage, from April thru September.  Also, travel to various communities for one or two day workshops.  Classes are in basic drawing, watercolor, and pastel.

Mixed Media

Collage

Willing to Teach Workshop; Teach an artist residency; Demonstrate or Lecture; Exhibit at Art Fairs

Leaf art collage - A unique original art form using plant materials and plant colorings.  No paints or dyes used, all colors are natural.  Subject matter of scenes is wide-ranging.  Size range of works from 5"x7" to 22"x28".  Each work is a one of a kind production.
I continue to expand my range of plant materials and my palette of plant derived natural background colors; thus continuing to produce new work.  I still feel strongly compelled to share this unusual medium with others in a "hands-on" setting.  "If I can do this anyone can! No one is too old or too young!"  I've done workshops in schools, libraries, art-shows, for teachers, girl scouts, psychiatric centers, Elderhostel, and nursing homes.  This most dear to my heart.
I am especially interested in outreach and have worked with people aged 3 to 80 yrs. and just about everything in between.
