NWRDC SEEKS REPRESENTATIVES
The Northwest Regional Development Commission (NWRDC) is seeking nominations for two Diverse and five At-Large Public Interest Representatives on the Commission. At-large public interest representatives represent a variety of groups such as arts, agriculture, business, chambers of commerce, economic development, emergency services, financial institutions, industry, labor, low income, older adults (60+ yrs.), younger adults (18-25 yrs.), transportation, soil & water conservation districts, vocational education, watersheds, women, or other groups with an interest in regional issues.
These are two-year terms of offices and members receive a $50.00 "per diem" payment, as well as travel expenses, for the days on which they attend Commission meetings.
The Northwest Regional Development Commission (NWRDC) serves the counties of Kittson, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake and Roseau.
